1.1 Curriculum
Curriculum 2013
Kurtilas, or the 2013 curriculum, is the term used to describe the handover of power between President SBY and President Jokowi. Kurtilas' four assessment facets are conduct, knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Anies Baswedan had time to reassess this curriculum and halt the Kurtilas deployment in multiple schools. This curriculum was updated and reintroduced in a number of schools in 2016. (Source: Litbang Dikbud)
Based on my class observation, Curriculum 2013 in Indonesia is like the K-12 Curriculum in the Philippines in terms of the 3 domains. Both of these two focuses on the 3 domains: Affective, Cognitive, and Psychomotor skills of the learners.
Independent Curriculum
The Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and
Technology's Decree Number 56 of 2022, which provides guidelines for the
implementation of curriculum in 25 Vol. XIV, No. 9/I/Puslit/May/2022, is the
foundation for the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. It is intended
to be a supplement to the previous curriculum in Indonesian.
