Greetings!
I am Dayvie Mia G. Simon from the Philippines. Currently a 4th year college student enrolled at Mariano Marcos State University taking up Bachelor in Secondary Education major in Social Studies. As partial fulfilment of my Field Study 1 and 2 for the first semester of Academic Year 2023-2024, I joined the SEA Teachers Project Batch 9, otherwise known as the "Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia".
The reason behind joining this one-of-a-kind opportunity is because I want to explore the world by learning how countries across the world teach their students, how their academic systems work, and what type of curriculum they are employing to effectively and efficiently increase the educational value and quality of their country. Most importantly, I want to learn the different cultures, traditions, beliefs, and living practices of the people in this world, especially in Southeast Asia, as it would be beneficial on my part as a Social Studies teacher.
Thank you very much!
